The difference between roller type fast doors and stacked fast doors

The difference between Zhuhai roller type fast doors and stacked fast doors

Fast rolling doors have been widely used in developed industrial countries such as Europe, America, and Japan for many years. Especially in production enterprises, there must be fast rolling doors between workshops.

If it is a food or pharmaceutical enterprise, it is mandatory for the government to use fast rolling doors for isolation to prevent secondary pollution of the product.

Just like our country's mandatory requirement for certain industries to install fire doors (whether you are willing or not), factories must be put into operation, and without fire doors, acceptance will not be passed, and factories cannot start construction.

The main functions of a fast door are insulation, moisture retention, dust prevention, insect prevention, sound insulation, wind resistance, etc., to maintain a constant temperature, humidity, and clean working environment in the workshop.

Suitable for fields such as food, medicine, electronics, rubber, chemical, automotive, textile, logistics, etc.

Both roller type and stacked type fast rolling shutter doors are soft curtain fast rolling shutter doors that can be opened quickly and frequently, achieving insulation, heat insulation, and dust prevention. The main differences are as follows:

1. The biggest difference lies in the anti wind pressure effect. Stacked doors are more suitable for places with large opening widths and high winds. In open and windy areas, if the width exceeds 4 meters, it is necessary to consider using stacked fast rolling shutter doors. In areas with low wind pressure, if the opening width exceeds 5 meters and the maximum width exceeds 6 meters, it is necessary to consider using stacked fast rolling shutter doors. The stacked fast rolling shutter door can reach a maximum width of 15 meters.

2. There are differences in the opening speed. When the roller type fast rolling shutter door is used normally, the speed can generally reach 1.20 meters/second, while when the stacked fast rolling shutter door is used normally, the speed will not exceed 0.80 meters/second.

3. There are differences in occupying the upper space. The upper space of the roller type fast rolling shutter door requires 600mm, and 500mm is also acceptable in case of space constraints. However, the upper installation space of the stacked type fast rolling shutter door requires 900mm or more. The higher the door opening, the larger the upper occupied space.

4. There are differences in cost. For doors of the same size, the cost of stacked fast rolling shutter doors is higher than that of roller fast rolling shutter doors. This is mainly because the curtain separation of stacked fast rolling shutter doors is smaller. To enhance the wind resistance effect, the number of wind resistant bars and partitions can be increased at will. However, for roller fast rolling shutter doors, if the separation is too small and too many wind resistant bars are used, the friction and collision between the door curtain and the large axis will be more severe. In addition, the track of the stacked door is larger, The sealing brush and adhesive strip are also large, and the upper door frame also requires more materials.
